Mission Statement

The mission of Edwards-Johnson Memorial Silsbee Middle School is to nurture an environment where every individual reaches a high level of measurable academic achievement, and that encourages positive individual and social development.

Goals

  • Develop and implement a quality school.
  • Provide a safe, orderly, disciplined school climate.
  • Close the gap between the minority and majority learner.
  • Manage our students’ awareness of the value of various cultures in our school.
  • Decrease the retention rate of students.
  • Increase attendance for all students.
