Mr. Hennigan has been in education for 22 years. He was previously the head baseball coach at Spurger, Colmesneil and Woodville. At each school, he led his team to state championship games.

After his time coaching, he served as an Assistant Principal at Woodville HS. He served in that role for five years before becoming the principal. Mr. Hennigan was principal for two years. He is now an assistant principal at Silsbee High School.
